The University of Texas-Pan American men and women's track and field program will be heading off to Houston for the Sixth Annual Rice Twilight Meet hosted by Rice University Thursday, April 24.

School competing at the Rice Twilight will be from Texas A&M, UT-Arlington, Stephen F. Austin, Tulane, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Houston Baptist and other Texas schools as well.

Rice alumna and UTPA assistant track and field coach Funmi Jimoh will be back on the track competing in the long jump.

The men's hammer throw will start off the Rice Twilight at 2:00 p.m. today with running events beginning at 6:00 p.m.
