Outdoor - Martin saw action in three meets during the outdoor track and field season... captured the meet championship at the Border Olympics with a time of 58.32 in the 400-meter dash... claimed eight place honors in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.82... earned a 10th place showing at the ASU/David Noble Relays with a time of 1:01.20 in the 400-meter dash... Indoor - Martin captured two top-10 finishes during the indoor track and field season... finishes fifth overall in the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.86 at the UH/RunSport All-Comers Meet... placed seventh overall at the UH/RunSport All-Comers Meet with a time of 26.81 in the 200-meter dash.

Outdoor - Martin captured the meet championship at the ASU/David Noble Relays with a time of 57.04 in the 400-meter dash, which was the fifth-fastest time in program history... finished third overall with a time of 59.31 in the 400-meter dash at the Border Olympics... earned a sixth-place showing at the Texas Invitational with a time of 59.53 in the 400-meter dash... claimed seventh-place honors with a season-best time of 56.88 in the 400-meter dash at the Texas Twilight, which was the third-fastest time in program history... Indoor - Martin competed in a pair of meets during her sophomore campaign at the Wes Kittley Invitational and Wes Kittley Six-Way.
2005
Outdoor - The UTPA freshman finished second overall at the Rice Twilight with a time of 59.41 in the 400-meter dash... finished third overall with a time of 59.92 in the 400-meter dash at the Texas Invitational... was part of the 4x100-meter relay team that won the Texas Invitational championships with a 3:57.87 mark... Indoor - Martin competed in the 400-meter dash at the Houston Indoor Classic and Hyatt Regency Invitational.
H. Grady Spruce High School
Martin was a member of a H. Grady Spruce High School track and field team that won the district championship during her junior and senior seasons... earned Who's Who Among American High School Students award recipient... lettered in both cross country and track and field during her prep career.
Off the Track
Martin is the daughter of Terry and Hazel Martin... has one sister - Tevialia... was born on May 30, 1986... majoring in pre-medicine... chose UTPA over Texas State, Grambling State and North Texas.
