Indoor - participated in three meets during the indoor track and field season... recorded her first collegiate title at the UH/Run Sport All-Comers Meet in the 3,000-meter race with a time of 10:54:64...collected fourth place honors in the 5,000-meter race with a time of 18:35:38 at the Univ. of Houston Invitational...posted a 13th place finish at the Leonard Hilton Memorial in the 5,000-meter race with a mark of 19:22:34... Outdoor - competed in seven meets during the outdoor track and field season... collected runner-up laurels at the Tom Tellez Invitational in the 5,000-meters race with a mark of 18:15:90... finished second overall in the 5,000-meter race with a mark of 18:22:66 at the ASU/David Noble Relays... posted a fourth place finish at the Border Olympics with a time of 10:39:50 in the 3,000-meter race... collected a fourth place finish at the Bobcat open with a time of 10:33:04 in the 3,000-meter race... came in sixth place in the 1,500-meter race at the Border Olympics with a mark of 4:57:53.

Hanna High School
A standout at Hanna High School, Izaguirre earned 12 letters - four in soccer, four in cross country and four in track and field... recorded a time of 11:40 in the two mile race... was a two-time district champion... graduated in the top 11 percent in her class... was a member of the Anime Club, HOSA and Spanish Club.

Izaguirre is the daughter of Juan and Maria Izaguirre... was born on April 28, 1988... has two brothers - Juan and Abraham... majoring in biology/chemistry.
