2006-07 [Junior Season] In her second season with the Lady Broncs, Garcia notched a 3-7 overall record in singles' action at the number-five and -six positions of the lineup... notched a 2-0 record for the Lady Broncs in the fall season at the UTSA Women's Tennis Invitational... collected her lone victory during the spring season against Jamie Doby of McMurry University by scores of 6-1 and 6-1... captured two of her final three matches in doubles' competition to close out the season with teammate Stephanie Willerding as the UTPA tandem defeated Holly Phillips and Monika Drabkova of The University of Texas at San Antonio by a score of 8-6 and Nina Ciric and Alexandra Dyckman of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi by a 9-7 decision... teamed with Sarah Burton at the number-three doubles' position to defeat Jamie Doby and Kim Patterson of McMurry University by an 8-2 count at the ACU Invitational.

2006 Season [Sophomore]
Garcia posted a 7-11 record in singles' action during the 2006 season at the number-five position... teamed with Silke Buksik in the number-one doubles' position where the duo finished with a 7-9 overall record... finished with a 1-2 record at the 2006 National Independent Women's Tennis Championships... captured singles' and doubles' matches against Laredo Community College, University of South Dakota, Nicholls State and Prairie View A&M.

2005 Season [Freshman - Lee College]
In her first season with Lee College, Garcia helped her squad advance to the NJCAA National Championships where the squad finished second overall.

Samuel Clemens High School
Garcia was a four-year lettermen at Samuel Clemens High School where she was a three-time team Most Valuable Player during her career... was selected as the team captain during her senior campaign... qualified for the regional championships in doubles' action during the 2003 season... was a member of the Spanish Club and Creative Writing Club... was part of the Newks Academy and USTA... ranked as high as 35th in the State of Texas in Under-18 action during the 2004 season.

Garcia is the daughter of Eduardo and Laverne Garcia... was born on Dec. 17, 1985... has one brother - Mark... majoring in kinesiology and biology... chose UTPA over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
