1. Since transferring from New Orleans University, how has the transition been for you?
MC - "The team has been a lot different. This year we are very different, we support each other. With a new coach it has made a big impact in me because I think Coach Lopez is one of the best coaches that I've ever had."
2. How did you begin playing golf?
MC - "My entire family has always played golf and my dad started taking me to the golf course, that's when I started playing in tournaments. When I played in Mexico I just decided to play and be more serious about my game."
3. What are some of the goals that you want to accomplish this season? MC - "I would like to win a golf championship and finish in the top-five in several tournaments."
4. Who has been the most influential person in your life?
MC - "My mom, because she has accomplished everything that she has set her mind to. I'm really proud of what she has done."
5. How has the transition been from head coach Barb Odale to Ofelia Lopez?
MC - "The new transition has been really good. Coach Lopez is able to spend more time with us and is more of a full-time coach which has helped us out a lot."
6. What is the biggest difference from golf to other sports?
MC - "I think with golf you really need to put more time and focus. From one day to the next your game can change."
7. What are some of the goals that the team has set?
MC - "We would like to be in the top-five in several tournaments and win the National Minority Golf Championship."
8. What is the biggest difference between playing in Guatemala and in Texas?
MC - "Here in Texas there are more women playing and in Guatemala it is a very small sport. Golfers get a lot more support for golf here in the United States."
9. What are some of the routines that you go through before a tournament?
MC - "I usually eat a little bit more and I read a book to help me mentally before a tournament."
10. After having an outstanding first season, do you feel any added pressure to do better than last year?
MC - "It's not that I feel more pressure but I think right now my game is a better than last season. So in a way I know I'm going to do better. I'm just putting everything together and I feel really good."

MC - Go to the putting green.

2. If you could change one thing about your game, what would you change?
MC - I would change my bunker shots.
3. If you were giving a million dollars to create a golf course, where would you put it and what would it look like?
MC - I think I would have it in South Africa because it's a beautiful place.
4. If you could meet anyone in the world, who would you meet?
MC - I would like to meet Tiger Woods because he's a person I admire.
5. If you were giving one wish, what would you wish for?
MC - To make it to the LPGA.
6. If you had the opportunity to meet President George Bush, what would you say to him?
MC - Just to think about all the people that are dying in Iraq.
7. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
MC - I would like to go to Asia. My sister and my mother went and said that it's a beautiful place.
