After two rounds of golf at the Islander Spring Classic, the Lady Broncs are currently in ninth place out of 11 teams in the 54-hole tournament.
Senior captain Elizabeth Rodriguez leads the team with a two-round score of 154 (77-77) which makes her tied for sixth place with two other opponents from University of Toledo and Lamar University.
Mariale Camey (Cuidad, Guatemala/University of New Orleans) is tied for 15th place after collecting a two-round tally of 157 (81-76) while Rebecca De Leon (Mission, TX/Veterans Memorial H.S.) sits tied for 42nd with a 36-hole score of 165 (83-82).
Tied for 49th overall is Haley Hocott (San Antonio, TX/MacArthur H.S.) who finished with a two-round tally of 167 (80-87) while Bronwyn Sandberg (St. Albert, Alberta, Canada/ Bellerose Composite) recorded a 36-hole score of 171 (81-90) which ties her for 56th place.
Playing as individuals is Sara Maria Garcia (Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico/Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School) who is tied for 52nd with a two-round score of 169 (83-86) and senior Jennifer Marks (El Paso, TX/McLennan C.C.) who sits in 62nd place with a 36-hole score of 175 (88-87), respectively.
The Lady Broncs will play the final 18-holes tomorrow morning with tee time set for 8:15 a.m. at the Corpus Christi Country Club.
