2006-07 [Sophomore Season]
Garrett appeared in all 29 games this past season where she led the Lady Broncs in field goal percentage (.548) and ranked fourth in free throws made (33), free throw attempts (57) and blocked shots (9)... scored a season-high 12 points on 5-of-5 shooting to go along with two rebounds against Schreiner (Nov. 21)... posted 11 points, including 5-of-6 from the charity stripe at the Battle at the Border Tournament against Texas State (Dec. 28)... notched nine points, six rebounds and a career-high three steals against Huston-Tillotson (Dec. 12)... notched nine points on 4-of-4 shooting at the UTPA Fieldhouse against South Dakota State (Jan. 27)... posted nine points on 3-of-4 shooting, including 3-of-3 at the charity stripe, in the season finale against Utah Valley State (Mar. 3)... scored eight points on 3-of-4 shooting at the UTPA Fieldhouse against Sun Belt Conference-foe University of Louisiana-Lafayette (Nov. 18)... concluded her sophomore campaign averaging 4.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, 0.7 steals and 0.3 blocked shots per game.
2005-06 [Freshman Season]
In her rookie campaign with the Lady Broncs, Garrett appeared in all 28 games while making 21 starts, including the final 11 games of the season... led the squad in free throw attempts... ranked third on the squad in field goal percentage, free throw made, rebounds, fourth in rebounding average and fifth in minutes played, field goals made, field goal attempts and points...scored a career-high 13 points on three occasions against Northern Colorado (Jan. 15), Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Jan. 21) and Huston-Tillotson (Feb. 15)... nearly missed her career double-double against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Jan. 21) at the UTPA Fieldhouse where she collected 13 points and nine rebounds... scored 12 points on the road at Utah Valley State (Jan. 17)... collected seven games of four or more rebounds, including nine against Huston-Tillotson (Feb. 15)... collected eight points and seven rebounds on the road against Wichita State (Jan. 31)... attempted 10 or more shots from the field on three occasions, including a career-high 13 against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Jan. 21)... saw action in 20 or more minutes in eight contests, including a career-high 31 minutes of action versus Wichita State (Jan. 31)... connected on four or more free throws on four occasions, including five free throws versus Kansas State (Dec. 2) and Houston (Dec. 3)... finished with nine points and three rebounds against the University of Houston (Dec. 3)... was selected to the UTPA Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the first time in her career... garnered Bronc Pride 3.0 Club accolades during both the fall and spring semesters.
High School
Garrett was named one of the top 100 players in the State of Texas by TexasHoops.com... earned Defensive Player of the Year honors along with Ms. Rebounder and Outstanding Blocker accolades for Nacogdoches High School... averaged 15.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 2.0 assists per game as a senior... earned first-team 17-4A All-District honors... earned 11 letters during her prep career - four in basketball, four in volleyball, two in softball and one in track and field... was cited as an Academic All-District and All-Sports Honor Roll selection... was coached by Nigel Boyles, who coached former UTPA point guard Jennifer Piwonka, in high school... captured the District 17-4A shot put championship... was a second team all-district performer in volleyball.

Garrett is the daughter of Robert and Carla Garrett... has one brother - Eric - and one sister - Le'Tonya... was born on Aug. 23, 1987... majoring in criminal justice... chose UTPA over Baylor, Houston, Stephen F. Austin State University and Jacksonville State.
