2004-05 [Junior Season]
In her junior campaign, Fuentes saw action in a pair of games against Texas A&M - International (Nov. 23) and Texas - Permian Basin (Dec. 16)... recorded one rebound versus Texas - Permian Basin... selected as a UTPA Athletic Director's Honor Roll recipient... was a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club member during the fall and spring semester.
2003-04 [Sophomore Season]
Fuentes competed in six games for UTPA in her sophomore season... was a perfect 2-2 on the free throw line against Texas A&M - International (Nov. 25) for her only points of the season... added one assists in that contest along with dishing out a single assist versus IPFW (Feb. 19)... grabbed two rebounds in six minutes of action at the UTAP Fieldhouse versus St. Edward's (Nov. 29)... finished the season averaging 0.3 points and 0.7 rebounds per game.
2002-03 [Freshman Season]
During her rookie campaign, Fuentes saw limited action as a reserve for the Lady Broncs... logged minutes against Angelo State (Nov. 27), Tulsa (Nov. 30), New Mexico State (Jan. 18) and Louisiana - Lafayette (Feb. 3).
High School
Fuentes was part of a McAllen High School squad that captured three consecutive district championship teams... named a second team all-district and third team all-area selection as a senior... received first team all-area and second team All-Rio Grande Valley and all-district laurels the previous year... earned honorable mention all-state laurels in Texas Basketball Magazine... was named to the All-Defensive Team... chosen a member of both the National Honor Society and A&B Honor Roll... named to the Constitution Team... became the first freshman to earn Cadet of the Month Award in the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps... cited as a Who's Who Among American High School Students.

Fuentes is the daughter of Julian Sr. and Adelmira Fuentes... has one brother, Julian Jr., and one sister, Adelisa Ann... was born on Feb. 6, 1984... majoring in pre-law.
