Coulson gained valuable experience during her rookie campaign with the Lady Broncs as she appeared in 27 games while making three trips in the starting lineup... ranked second on the squad in blocked shots with 21 and 10th among all NCAA Division I Independent players... scored a career-high six points on two occasions against Texas Southern (Dec. 30) and IPFW (Feb. 4)... grabbed a career-high six rebounds at the UTPA Fieldhouse versus Huston-Tillotson (Feb. 15)... notched five rebounds and a career-high four blocked shots on the road at Northern Arizona (Jan. 6)... collected three games of five or more points, including a five-point effort against Prairie View A&M (Nov. 26)... collected four or more rebounds on four occasions... saw action in 14 games where she earned double-digit minutes on the floor, including a quartet of 20-minute evenings... played in a career-high 22 minutes in the first game of the season against Auburn University (Nov. 18) and saw action in 21 minutes on the road at Oregon State (Feb. 27)... finished the season averaging 1.6 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game... selected to the UTPA Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the first time in her career... was a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club selection in both the fall and spring semesters.

Coulson was named one of the top 150 post players in the nation according to Adidas All-Star Girls Report as a senior... named one of the top 100 women's basketball players in the State of Michigan in 2004... was an all-area, all-district and All-Oakland Athletics Association selection as a senior... averaged 8.2 points, 11.0 rebounds and 10.0 blocks per game... holds her high school's career (335), single-season (127) and single-game (13) record for blocked shots... earned seven letters during her prep career - four in basketball and three in volleyball... cited as a Lahser High School Scholar-Athlete... was a recipient of the Distinguished Community Service Award for working with a non-profit organization in helping inner-city children... was a member of a Michigan Monarchs AAU squad that captured the 18-under Michigan State Championship in 2004 and 17-under Dayton National Championship... helped the Michigan Mavericks capture the Michigan State Volleyball Championship in 2003... led the Oakland Athletics Association in blocks on the volleyball court as a junior.

Coulson is the daughter of Patricia Coulson... has three brothers - Nick, John, and Jesse... was born on Sept. 14, 1987... majoring in pre-law... chose UTPA over Massachusetts, Vermont, Alabama State and University of Detroit.
