Outdoor - Hernandez collected five top-10 finishes and two first place finishes during the outdoor track and field season... finished first overall at the Bobcat Open with a time of 9:44.48 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase... earned first place honors with the a time of 9:55.27 at the Tom Tellez Invitational in the 3,000-meter steeplechase... placed third overall at the Texas Invitational with a time of 6:10.44 in the 2,000-meter steeplechase... crossed the end line in fourth place with a time of 9:35.90 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Texas Relays... Indoor - The UTPA junior competed in four meets during the indoor track and field season... finished 30th overall at the Leonard Hilton Memorial with a time of 4:55.23 in the one-mile race.

2006
Indoor - The UTPA rookie recorded his best finish of the season at the Wes Kittley Invitational where he earned runner-up honors with a time of 2:39.22 in the 1,000-meter race... posted fourth-place laurels in the 800-meter race with a mark of 2:02.40 at the Wes Kittley Six-Way... earned his third top-10 finish of the season at the UH/RunSport All-Comers Meet with a time of 8:55.35 in the 3,000 meters, crossing the end line in ninth place... placed 17th overall at the Houston Indoor Classic with a mark of 4:28.42 in the one-mile race... Classroom - Davila earned UTPA Athletic Director's Honor Roll laurels for the first time in his career... was a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club member for the second straight semester.

2005
Cross Country - Davila appeared in four meets in his first season with the Broncs... posted his best finish of the season at the Rice Invitational with he finished 16th overall with a time of 18:33.68 in the 6,000-meter race... finished 50th overall at the 2006 National Independent Cross Country Championships with a mark of 28:41.48 in the 8,000-meter race... concluded the Cowboy Jamboree in 72nd place with a time of 27:36 in the 8,000-meter race... Classroom - The UTPA freshman was selected to the Bronc Pride 3.0 Club during the fall semester for the first time in his career.

High School
A product of Donna High School, Davila was a district champion during his cross country season en route to earning Most Valuable Player honors for the Redskins... finished second at the regional meet and 16th at the state championships that season... won the district championship in the 1,600 meters and 3,200 meters during the track and field season as a senior... qualified for the regional championships in both events that season... recorded personal-bests of 4:18 in the 1,600 meters and 9:26 in the 3,200 meters... was a national medalist as an AAU participant in the 1,500 meters and 3,000 meters... earned eight letters at Donna High School - four in track and field and four in cross country.

Davila is the son of Francisco and Rosario Davila... was born on June 9, 1986... has one brother and one sisters... majoring in kinesiology.
