UTPA BroncBusters - Will Littleton

Jan. 26, 2007

1. What was running through your mind when you broke three school records and won three meets in a span of six days?
WL - "I was trying to get qualified for Indoor Nationals and I knew I could win."

2. Do you think you will hit the 7-3.25 mark you hit at Angelo State this season?
WL - "Yes I do. I actually went 7-3.75 unattached with Coach Vaughn. I'm just waiting to PR."

3. What made you transfer to UTPA from Angelo State University?
WL - "I had been with a Division II school and had won two titles there and I wanted to try out a Division I school. My parents were another reason to move because they live here in the valley and I thought it would be a nice place to be."

4. What runs through your mind right before you're about to jump?
WL - "I stay focused and under control and I think about what coach told me last."

5. What goals do you have set for yourself this coming season?
WL - "My goals are to qualify for both Indoor/Outdoor, to be All-American, and to be National Champion."

6. What part of your jump do you feel needs improvement?
WL - "Well I'm running from a new approach so I'm working on that."

7. Besides the usual work out, do you do anything else to keep your body healthy?

WL - "A great year. It didn't start off too good but hopefully a great year."

WL - "I've been doing this for a long time and when I was younger I used to watch my older sister, who is five years older than me, in summer track."
