2006 Season [Freshman]
In his first season with the Broncs, Montemayor saw action in seven matches at the number-three, -four and -five positions in singles' action... competed in seven matches at the number-three doubles' competition... was selected to the UTPA Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the first time in his career... garnered Dean's List First Honors during the fall semester... cited as a Dean's List Second Honors recipient during the spring semester... earned Bronc Pride 3.0 Club honors during both semesters during his freshman campaign.

Hanna High School
Montemayor earned three letters on the tennis court for Hanna High School where he was selected as the team captain during his senior campaign... graduated in the top 10 percent of his class.

Off the Court
Montemayor is the son of Enrique and Maria Montemayor...has one sister - Loretta... was born on June 12, 1987... has not yet determined a major... chose UTPA over Texas A&M and Schreiner.
