After 54-holes of golf at the Braveheart Classic in Beaumont, CA the men's golf team finished tied for 11th place out of 16 teams on Tuesday afternoon.

The Broncs finished with a team total of 942 while Cal Poly (900), UC Riverside (908), UC Santa Barbara (910), TCU (912), and Kansas State University (918) rounded off the top-five.

Shane Pearce (Carrollton, TX/Hebron H.S.) finished tied for 41st with a three-round score of 235 (80-78-77) while Armen Kirakossian (Portland, OR/Wilson H.S.) recorded a 54-hole tally of 235 (79-77-79) tying for 41st overall.

Senior Jeff Hensley (Van Horn, TX/ Van Horn H.S.) collected a three-round tally of 236 (79-78-79) tying for 47th place with A.J. Gonzalez who finished with a 54-hole score of 236 (86-77-73).

Newcomer Tim Acaster (North Battleford, SK/Saskatchewan Provincial H.S) finished 95th overall with a three-round score of 266 (90-82-94).

The Broncs will be back in action at the Kauai Cup in Kauai, HI beginning Thursday (Mar. 13).
