Mosquera came to the Rio Grande Valley from Lon Morris College where he helped the Bearcats reach the NJCAA National Tournament during the 2006-07 campaign... guided the Bearcats to a sixth-place showing after falling to the College of Southern Idaho... played an important role in helping Lon Morris College capture the Region XIV Championship after averaging 10.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game in the Bearcats' three games at the Region XIV Tournament... posted on of his best all-around games of the season with a 20-point, 13-rebound performance in an 85-82 overtime victory over San Jacinto Junior College, who came into the tournament as the number-two seed... scored eight points and grabbed seven rebounds in 24 minutes of action to help Lon Morris record a 65-63 victory over Navarro College in the Region XIV Championship Game... appeared in all 32 games for Lon Morris College where he averaged 9.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.0 blocked shots, 0.7 steals and 0.6 assists per game while helping the Bearcats to a 19-13 overall record... led the squad in total blocked shots (57) and blocked shots per game (2.0) while finishing second in those categories among all Region XIV men's basketball players... ranked first on the team in field goal percentage by connecting on 51.6 percent (111-of-215) en route to finishing 18th overall among all Region XIV men's basketball players... ranked second on the Bearcats in total rebounds (197) and rebounds per game (7.1) and fourth in total points (255) and scoring average (9.1).
