2006 [Junior Season]
In his first season with the Broncs, Silva posted a 2-1 record with a 5.68 earned run average while appearing in 11 games... recorded 24 strikeouts while surrendering nine walks in 25.1 innings of action... recorded his first victory with UTPA against Texas State (Feb. 5) where he hurled 5.0 innings of action, allowing two hits and striking out six hitters... posted his second victory on the road at Sam Houston State (Feb. 26) where he tossed 6.1 innings while giving up four hits and striking out one batter... started his first game with the Broncs against Lamar (Feb. 12).

2004-05 [Santa Rosa Junior College]
Silva helped Santa Rosa Junior College to the California State Championship during his sophomore season... was ranked as one of the top 50 pitchers in the State of California that season.

Kelseyville High School
The Kelseyville High School talent earned All-California and All-League recognition during his senior season on the diamond... broke the school record for home runs (11) and hits (40) in a season while driving in 45 total runs.

Silva is the son of Raymond and Mary Silva... born on February 21, 1984... has three sisters - Rachel, Lisa and Tara... majoring in business management.
