2007 [Junior Season]
Johnson posted a .227 batting average for the Broncs in his first season where he collected 25 hits in 110 at-bats... collected 12 walks, seven RBI while driving in 15 runs... posted a .227 slugging percentage and a .305 on-base percentage... recorded his first hit of his Bronc career against Texas State (Feb. 3) where he finished with one RBI and one run scored... collected two hits, one RBI, three runs scored and two walks against Sam Houston State (Mar. 4)... posted four hits, one run scored, one RBI, and one walk versus Northern Colorado (Apr. 7)... appeared in three games on the mound for the Broncs... collected four strikeouts in 4.2 innings versus Prairie View A&M (Mar. 6).
2005-06 [Alvin Junior College]
A two-year starter in the infield for Alvin Junior College, Johnson helped the Dolphins post a 37-14 record during the 2006 season en route to capturing the Region XIV championship over Navarro Junior College... recorded a .315 batting average after collecting 40 hits in 127 at-bats to go along with 11 RBI and 11 runs scored during his sophomore season... selected as the Outstanding Defensive Player for the Dolphins that season... competed with the Louisiana Legends during the summer of 2006 where the team competed at the World Championships in Fort Myers, FL.
Tearlings Catholic High School
A native of League City, TX, Johnson was a two-time all-district performer during his career with Tearlings Catholic High School... selected as a second team Texas State Baseball Coaches Association award recipient during his senior campaign... cited as a two-time All-Parrish and All-Academic selection during his prep career... earned four letters in baseball.
