2007 [Freshman Season]
In his first season in a Bronc uniform, Hutcherson posted a .222 batting average in 12 games for UTPA where he collected 10 hits in 45 at-bats... recorded seven runs scored, four RBI and six walks during this campaign... notched his first hit of his career versus Sam Houston State (Feb. 24) where he finished with one run scored, one RBI and two walks... finished with two hits, one run scored and two doubles on the road at Sam Houston State (Mar. 6)... recorded two hits, one run scored and one RBI against Northern Colorado... appeared in six games on the mound for the Broncs where he posted 9.72 earned run average in 8.1 innings while collecting seven strikeouts.

Magnolia High School
A product of Magnolia High School, Hutcherson was selected as a Top-25 Hitter in the Houston Area during his senior season by the Houston Chronicle... ranked in the top five in batting average in District 17-5A until an injury ended his season... led Magnolia High School in batting average and on-base percentage prior to his season-ending injury... saw action in the infield as well as on the mound where he spent time as a starter and closer... earned five letters during his prep career with Magnolia High School - three in baseball and two in football... graduated in the top-20 percent of his class.

Hutcherson is the son of Lamar and Patty Hutcherson... born on January 8, 1988... has two sisters - Heather and Jennifer... father, Lamar, played collegiate baseball at Angelina Junior College... majoring in business.
