2006 [Junior Season]
The UTPA junior was one of the top performers for the Broncs during his first season... posted a .299 batting average with 60 hits in 201 at-bats to go along with six home runs and 15 doubles... drove in a team-high 36 runs while plating 31 runs in 52 games... recorded a .463 slugging percentage and a .377 on-base percentage during his junior season... posted hits in 37 of 52 games, including 20 of the team's final 21 games... collected 19 multi-hit performances during his junior season... collected five RBI and three hits, including one double, in the season opener against Gonzaga (Feb. 2)... connected on his first grand slam against Sam Houston State (Mar. 5) where he finished the game with four RBI... recorded three hits, including a double and home run, to go along with three RBI and two runs scored against Stephen F. Brooks was a two-year starter at third base for Santa Rosa Junior College where he helped the Bear Cubs capture the California State Championships during the 2005 season... collected three hits and drove in six runs for Santa Rosa Junior College during the California State Championship Game... posted a .328 batting average with 32 RBI and 16 doubles during his sophomore campaign.

Vallejo High School
Brooks earned all-city and all-league honors while being selected as the Spring Sports Scholar-Athlete at Vallejo High School... finished with a .364 combined batting average during his junior and senior campaigns... earned five letters during his prep career - three in baseball, one in football and one in basketball.
