At Kankakee Community College, Brevard earned Pitcher of the Year accolades... finished with a 1.37 earned run average including 55 strikeouts to go along with 12 saves, 16 walks in 39.1 innings pitched... collected all-region second team honors...received the Sportsmanship Award... appeared on the mound 34 times setting a season record... made 55 appearances on the hill setting a career high... finished second all-time in saves for both career with 13 and season with 12.

East Chambers High School
A standout athlete at East Chambers High School, Brevard earned four letters in baseball and three in track and field...was four-year All-District in baseball...was Pre-Season All-Star pitcher in 2004...named team MVP in 2004... collected back-to-back district titles in the 100M dash...was a member of the 4x100M relay team that won the district title three times.

Brevard is the son of Gerald and Jonie Brevard...has one brother - Ethan...one sister - Megan...born on May 30, 1986...majoring in general studies.
