• 74% UTPA Student-Athletes (exhausting athletic eligibility) have graduated over the last 10 years.
• 64% Transfer Student-Athletes have graduated as a result of the most recent NCAA cohort.
• UTPA Student-Athletes reached a cumulative departmental GPA of 2.92 at the end of the Spring 2003 semester.
• USA Today ranked UTPA Athletics 8^th in the Nation - percentage of student-athletes graduated compared to general student-body (Spring 2001).
• Since the Fall 1999 semester, the student-athlete cumulative GPA has been greater than the general student-body GPA.

 GPA Facts:

•  Departmental GPA has increased from a 2.53 (Fall 1999) to a 2.84 (Fall 2003) and peaked at 2.92 (Spring 2003)

• The current Athletics Departmental GPA (2.84) is higher than the UTPA undergraduate GPA (2.62).

• Since the Fall 1999 semester, 38% of UTPA student-athletes have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

• 58 UTPA student-athletes have earned perfect 4.00 semester GPA's (Dean's List 1st Honors) while and additional 209 earned Dean's List 2nd Honors with a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.

• Since its inception in the Fall of 1999, 531 UTPA student-athletes have been inducted into the Bronc Pride 3.0 Club (an ave. of 59/semester).

• 109 student-athletes have been named USAA "All-American" Sports Scholars.
